This proposal focuses on transforming the arrival experience at Brows Farm Golf Centre, particularly the entrance, car park, and the walkway leading down to the driving range. While the site layout works well, the planting around the entrance feels forgotten. Large beds are currently filled with self-seeded species which, although beneficial for local biodiversity, don’t create a clear or engaging sense of arrival.

The design aims to work sensitively with what’s already thriving on site, selectively reducing, relocating, or complementing existing plants to create a more structured and welcoming planting scheme. A key part of the brief was to incorporate azaleas, offering a subtle reference to the Masters Tournament, one of the most iconic events in golf. This ornamental gesture is balanced with a naturalistic approach that builds on the wild character of the space.

Overall, the proposal aims to create a more welcoming and visually engaging space for visitors, enhancing the first impression of the site while maintaining a strong connection to its natural character and the game of golf.
